Comfort Hotel Runway is one of the largest Comfort Hotels in Norway, not only with our 303 room, Deli, A la puck – our restaurant, gym with a sauna, breakfast and a brand new Barception – but we also offer no more than 15 meeting rooms hosting small to large groups for a full package of coffee break mingle, lunch and dinner. Located only a short shuttle bus ride away from Oslo Airport, we are a vibrant hotel that never sleeps; with high occupancy and a constant flow of guests passing through our doors every day.
Our Barception is the heart of the hotel, where guests can check in, chill out at the bar, get some emails done or grab something to eat. At Comfort Hotel, we don´t have a traditional a la carte restaurant – we have our A la puck concept where you easy order your food and drinks from our QR code, pick up your order at the kitchen and bar – and enjoy!
In the mornings, we serve a tasty breakfast buffet, at lunchtime we provide easy going meals from our Deli and in the evening we have A la puck.

Comfort Hotel Runway has been upgraded and renovated, designed to meet the needs of the modern traveler. Now, we need a Kitchen Manager who will work mainly day and evening shifts. You will work closely with the Restaurant Supervisor and the rest of the restaurant team to implement and evolve our F&B concepts for lunch, dinner and groups/meetings.
Your role
As Kitchen Manager at Comfort Hotel Runway, you – together with the Restaurant Supervisor – are responsible for developing and adapting Comfort Hotels’ F&B concept to perfectly match the fast-paced dynamics of an international airport hotel.
You make sure that the menu is always updated with seasonal ingredients, the Comfort Deli is fully stocked, and the kitchen is kept clean and welcoming. You hold full responsibility for the kitchen – including hygiene, own-check (intern kontroll), and your team members. You understand how to balance creativity, guest satisfaction and cost efficiency – and you care about sustainability, making smart choices to reduce food waste and support a greener way of working. You’re motivated by reaching set targets. COGS and staff costs are terms you could recite in your sleep.
You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in whenever and wherever needed – operations always come first. As Kitchen Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager, be part of the hotel’s management team, and report directly to the General Manager.

With guests arriving from all corners of the world and the airport just a stone throw away, flexibility, collaboration, and speed are key. Together, you’ll ensure that our food offering meets the needs of our guests- whether they’re catching an early morning flight, stranded due to a cancelled flight (Yes, we can get 150 guests for dinner on the day!) , or winding down after a long journey.
